The Military Club on Shanxi Road holds shared memories for countless old Nanjing residents: every summer they would gather in the square, squeezing together to watch open-air movies. Our vision was Preserving the site’s layers of history—its complexity, coexistence, and charm—while creating future-oriented modes of production, the project aims to become a new landmark for Nanjing. It envisions a vibrant creative district that blends innovation, cultural experiences, tech-driven fashion, and nostalgic humanism. Through thoughtful public-space design and mixed-use programming, the area is reactivated and reborn, opening a new generation of urban life scenarios.
